David and Julie are pictured (right) with their son, Spencer Mitchell, aged eight. Spencer has been attending town crier competitions, in costume, since the age of two! At the LCTC British Town Crier Championship in Alnwick in 2008 Spencer won his first title: “Best Dressed Escort”! In July 2008 he was officially appointed “Apprentice Town Crier of Chester” by the Lord Mayor of Chester.
